Minneapolis releases Cast Vote Record (CVR) extracts for each individual ranked-choice race but not for entire ballots. However, based on the precinct columns perfectly matching up, it appears the rows are in the same order in each CVR file. If so, one can do cross-race analyses like this.

1. Asking “what chance did [Davis & Hampton] have ignores Frey’s agency is creating the race‘s dynamics. Frey sued the most moderate hope (Emily Koski) to cut off her money & intimated others. 1/
Roper: Jacob Frey can thank the far left for handing him another term
Frey was a vulnerable incumbent. But progressives banked on the wrong guy to beat him.

Wonder why so many Minnesota school districts across the state are turning to voters for local funding year after year? Thank Jesse Ventura and Tim Pawlenty.

Saint Paul: Vote YES on November 4th. Then let’s tell state leaders it’s time to raise revenue and stabilize school funding. Yesforspps.com

Jamison Whiting pic was on a mailer, not here. Odd.
General thoughts:
1. W10 Millard had to stay off to pretend she’s a progressive
2. Was Becka even asked, given toxicity?
3. Four at-large for 3 Park seats helps progressives!
4. Good for Brandt (BET) & Deshpande (Parks 3) for saying away. They badly want Fine through.
5. Did W11 fall into the river?

This was helpful. Similar event supposedly coming to Ward 11 Oct. 29. (Unconfirmed. Stay tuned.) Before the event, I took a picture of the sad former Bethany Care Home, shuttered next door to Windom Rec. Then the Home was subject of the budget discussion. CP EP has urgent ideas for its next life.
Stop by tonight and share your budget priorities!
Come join us for our Ward 1 community budget meeting tonight at Windom Park at 5:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to learn more from the City’s budget team about the process and share what’s most important to you going into the 2026 budget.
