A little annoyed this never got a CD or official digital release - it's a really good track, I just don't need more reasons to start buying LPs www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXae...

I just want to put this out into the universe.

If you are a homebrew developer of a GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SMS, MD/Genesis, N64, or PS1 game with a free version or a free demo of you game, I’d love to ship it with SuperStation as a physical or digital demo disk.
This is a very impressive PS1 game by @eliasdaler.bsky.social running on SuperStation.

Wrote a little script to select and play random games from the PS1 library (skipping ones I've played before)

So far, 2 out of 10 have been completely OK, 1 in 10 are fantastic hidden gems, and the rest have been bizarre Classics of Game candidates

Welcome to bluesky! Here are some things you should keep in mind:

* You can dance if you want to
* You can leave your friends behind
* Because your friends don't dance and if they don't dance they're no friends of mine

Powerful move of kindness you can do at work almost every day is when someone junior or outside your department goes “I have a dumb question” and then asks a totally reasonable question, hit em with a “not at all a stupid question” or “actually great question” and then answering it.

What's the worst game you finished/rolled credits on?

(games media folks, it can't be something you were assigned to review; this has to be something you subjected yourself to of your own free will)

Fellow preservationist Robert Robichaud got in touch to share that he was recently involved in a game preservation project regarding Norway's first adventure games. A great article worth checking out:

It’s sort of the opposite problem to the Internet, a socially transformative technology which didn’t have a lot of anticipatory literature in SF. Decades of storytelling about AI have primed people to ask the wrong questions about it and expect the wrong things

Neat Foobar2000 trick: you can order albums/tracks by file modification time, right click a set of tracks, pick Sort -> Sort by... -> and set "$date(%last_modified%)" as the pattern

Handy if you suddenly happen to have a lot of new albums to listen to ;)
