I really do wish Labour MP’s like @rachaelmaskell.bsky.social would just fuck off & leave Starmer to get in with his job. I’m a lifelong Labour supporter & idiotic MP’s like this will be the death of Labour.

If Reform win the next election, it will be all due to the recklessness of MP’s like her.

#ExtremeWeather is hitting harder and more often. Heavier rains, stronger #floods, bigger loss and damage.

In #Mozambique, the worst flooding in a generation has taken homes and livelihoods from hundreds of thousands of people.

The people hit hardest did little to cause the climate crisis.

This is one of the best series I’ve ever watched.

Britain needs a serious grown-up conversation about immigration before we get saddled with the idiots from Reform.

We basically need to copy what Denmark has done. The most sensible immigration policy I’ve seen anywhere in the world.

Faced with the deranged threats and wild madness of Trump’s presidency, our Brexit ‘sovereignty’ couldn’t be more costly… and yet worthless.
Farage and Badenoch would rather bend the knee to the US monster than admit that our future is with Europe.
The deceit is pathological. Sociopathic. Ruinous.

Mark Carney is a fantastic demonstration of why having a coherent political and economic worldview is so important for a politician.

When you encounter something out of the scope of what you’ve previously experienced, you can derive your approach from first principles.

Labour: take notes.

It's clear that the government's strategy of attempting to appease Donald Trump has roundly failed; when you cede ground to a bully, you only embolden them further.

It's time for the UK to show some genuine backbone in the face of the US President's aggression and unreliability.

TRUMP: Yeah. He's been invited

Q: Thoughts on Macron saying he won't join?

TRUMP: Did he say that? Nobody wants him bc he's going to be out of office very soon. If they feel hostile, I'll put a 200% tariff on his wines & champagnes & he'll join

Instead of allowing them to put shareholders' interests before their customers and the environment, the company should be placed into special administration.

It’s complex - but necessary.

Rebuilding ties with Europe matters, especially as the US becomes more unpredictable.
