After article below went viral, pro-Israel voices attacked KSA; ADL accused Saudis of "antisemitic dog whistles." The article then disappeared from website. Anti-Saudi voices called it a backdown. Then, the article reappeared and Saudi voices intensified attacks on the UAE. Draw your own conclusion.
Extraordinary: Prominent column in the Saudi Al-Jazirah refers to the UAE as "an Israeli Trojan horse in the Arab world in the hope of being used against the Kingdom and major Arab countries - in betrayal of God, His Messenger and the entire nation!"

In apparent reference to the UAE and Israel, Egypt's President Sisi says: “Cairo opposes attempts to fragment regional states or create militias and parallel entities that operate outside national armies and institutions," as he moves closer to KSA.

AOC: "How rich is it that she is saying showing up to the scene of a protest with a legally owned weapon should be grounds for a person's death, execution at the hands of the state, by the same party and administration that praises Kyle Rittenhouse."

It used to be metaphorically about Trump himself being able to get away with shooting someone on Fifth Avenue; now it's literally about anyone acting under his wing in broad daylight. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/us...

With all the talk about weaning Israel from US support, here is the reality: Without justice for Palestinians, Israel could never be self-sufficient and will always need superpower backing - and the US will continue to be drawn into ME wars. My remarks at @Stanford:

Minneapolis protester as he's being brutalized by feds: "You're gonna have to kill me! You're gonna have to kill me! I've done nothing wrong! My name is Matthew James! I'm a US citizen! You're gonna kill me! Is that what you want?" (You can hear his wife screaming)

This is shocking. The equitable way to refer to hyphenated Americans is by stressing that they are all equally American - and American first: Arab Americans, Black Americans, White Americans, Jewish Americans, Hispanic Americans, etc., which is a common way in our academic studies. It's respectful.
The newest argument: Mamdani is an antisemite for saying "Jewish Americans" instead of "American Jews"
