Debate about Carlson hosting Fuentes has focused on the supply side (who should be hosted and what type of conversation). But there is a huge demand side: On X, the post had 17 million views and 103K likes; on YouTube, the post had 5.6 million views and 249K likes. This is astonishing.

This one is totally new for me as someone who holds a peace professorship: Bragging about achieving peace between countries that are already at peace with each other.

Among many Democrats and some Republicans, AIPAC has become a toxic term - even part of a litmus test of politicians' authenticity. Is the ADL headed there too?

I have often liked what Lawrence O’Donnell had to say, but he never sounded more pathetic than tonight trying to defend Chuck Schumer and the Democratic establishment. Changing the name will do MSNBC no good unless they start reading the audience they desire to capture.

True, as Pew and our UMD polls have shown. But it's bigger than that, including the shift among young Republicans. If one sets aside Fox News, whose viewers have much more favorable views of Israel, there is no difference between the views of those getting their news from social media and the rest.

I once asked Colin Powell why Cheney had turned neocon from his stint as SecDef to his stint as VP. He said Cheney had always had same instinct but was contained as SecDef by more moderate G.H.W. Bush, Baker, and others. He said the difference was G.W. Bush who thought more like Cheney.
