In an effort to improve my discipline (also bc I am sick of spruiking live shows to prove I write) I started the writer's equivalent of a podcast. It's free. Still working on the discipline part (regularity). It's hopefully funny & defs short. This week's about chips.

One of the best episodes of The Goodies, a musical satire of Saturday Night Fever/Grease. I love seeing all the locals on the streets giggling at dear Tim Brooke-Taylor being very silly.
The Goodies (21st January 1980). Tim prepares to hit the streets.

“No one really dies, they just drop their physical body, and we’ll all meet again, like the song says. It’s sad, but it’s not devastating if you think like that. It’s a continuum, and we’re all going to be fine at the end of the story.”

OMG I loved this film soooo much! I saw it only a month or so ago. It's available on SBS, funny, exciting, romantic and set in Scotland! Also a very young Petula Clark!
I KNOW WHERE I’M GOING! is a Powell and Pressburger film I've long neglected watching. I loved its lack of sentimentality while still being sincere, and there's a great tension between moments of whimsy and aspects of social satire. Stunning cinematography and a bonus hilarious graphic match cut.
