Dark triad personalities have traits of psychopathy, narcissism and Machiavellianism--which all involve selfishness and low empathy. They exist on a continuum in the population. Research shows that dark triad personalities tend to possess higher levels of status and wealth.

It seems like morning's news can't get worse, and yet somehow it does day after day after day. Where's my damn elf hat anyway?

The etymology of the feminine word "Hag" suggests its earlier meaning meant "diviner or soothsayer". In N. European paganism *Hægtesse may have meant a "magic woman with prophetic & oracular power".

🪄 * hagatusjon, Hexe, haghetisse, & hagzusa.

Past is prologue.

In 1933, during the Great Depression, a group of wealthy businessmen tried to overthrow the US government and install a fascist dictator to protect their own interests.

And everything that led to it feels way too familiar right now.

This is not a history lesson, it’s a warning.

People are rising up and teaching each other how to resist and fight back, and it’s working.

And yeah, we’re seeing a whole lot of stupid ICE agents stumbling around like they own the place.

You cannot occupy a city and expect silence. The people who live there always answer back.
