Professional dog friend. I don't have any money to give. If you don't have a pug you should seriously consider it.

Inside you there are two wolves. Well actually they are pugs. And one is upside down.
And anyone who is ACTUALLY a crook, at least those found to be by a jury, are pardoned left and right!
This is exactly why I hate the Republican party, So much of their ethos is based on the idea that anyone who needs help is lazy or a crook. The "Welfare Queen" lie is the classic example. It will never change. They will never change. They are loathsome in their superiority and faux piety.
Trump claims that food stamps "puts the country in jeopardy. People that are able-bodied can do a job, they leave their job because they figure they can pick this up, it's easier."

JCO and Derek Guy, only to deliver headshot burns
I know, everybody should leave X, but I think an exception should be made solely for Joyce Carol Oates so she can keep wounding Musk's withered soul on his own site and he can't do a thing about it.

Just in case someone doesn’t know this: one reason individual health insurance was so expensive before was that it’s generally a lot cheaper to insure groups. (Not just bulk discounts but the fact that you don’t need to do individual underwriting.) The ACA turned individuals into a big group.
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

They can make great roommates too. Best roommate I ever had was on speed. The place was spotless and our media collection always organized.
Well it's a proven technique for producing music but it is not without risks lol

The classic joke: a sailor and a Marine are using urinals. The sailor finishes and washes his hands, the Marine just zips up and walks out. The sailor says, "In the Navy they teach us to wash our hands after we piss." The Marine responds, "In the Corps they teach us not to piss on our hands."

During the Civil War, more than 20% of Union soldiers were also foreign-born, mostly from Germany and Ireland. During World War I, approximately half a million immigrants were serving in the US military. “Foreigners have continued to serve in significant numbers since World War II.” #VeteransDay
In fact, immigrant service members fought in major conflicts since our country’s founding. “Hundreds of thousands of immigrants pledged to defend the United States with their lives in the Civil War, both World Wars, and conflicts like those in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq.” #VeteransDay
new from @tusk81.bsky.social:
Veteran’s Day can’t be properly observed without also noting the vast, heroic contributions of immigrant service members to the United States military.
Unfortunately, our nation has not always given its service members the respect they deserve.

Abolish the Senate. I am absolutely dead serious.
Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

Improving health care has been the cause of my life. It’s why I am running for congress. So I cannot support this deal when Speaker Johnson refuses to even allow a vote to extend health care tax credits. My statement:

Anyway I think one reason I'm not that mad at these guys is we already knew they were the wrong people for this moment. A party trying to carry on with business as usual in the face of autocracy won't survive. They're sitting in a burning house and commissioning polls on how popular the fire is
If you think the president is a tyrant and you're running for office to oppose him the only platform you can have is "Give us enough votes to impeach and remove this menace." Otherwise what's the point of electing you?

This isn’t a new skeet from Serwer, but it still resonates bcuz there are so often a few Dems who just will not hold the line — even when surrendering persuades many voters the Dem Party as a whole can’t be counted on in the clinches. This makes it hell for us canvassers. bsky.app/profile/adam...
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.
