Underrated aspect of the Belichick HoF snub is that the guy who presented his case was the lead NFL writer for OutKick, a website that sucks so much it’s lead NFL writer can inadvertently piss off a room of his supposed peers so much they forget that Bill Belichick was a good coach.

Big news that I'm delighted to no longer be keeping a secret: Next week I join @wired.com as a senior writer!

As everyone knows, this is a top-tier publication and indispensable record of digital life today. I'll be covering internet culture in all forms, as I have for almost 15 years now.

Very little if anything seems to have changed on the ground. ICE is still out there terrorizing neighborhoods and trying to disappear neighbors. None of us on the ground are buying this bullshit. We will keep organizing and fighting.
The intense fallout from the killing of Alex Pretti has forced President Trump to publicly change course in Minneapolis.

Listen to our White House reporters discuss the changes on today's episode of "The Daily."
Trump Changes Course in Minneapolis
The White House has been met with broad outcry over the killing of Alex Pretti, as well as pushback from Congress.

Once you start noticing it you can't stop: when the real Trump falters and is incapable of defending his administration (more and more frequent) the actual Trump is "subbed out" of news coverage for an invented, imaginary, often explicitly hypothetical version of Trump who is reasonable and cogent
A few hours ago the msm unquestioningly repeated the White House spin that Trump had changed his “tone.”
Um, holy shit? This has gotta be up there in the most crass & worse things Trump has ever said

Unfair to McVay that his perfect play would be undone by something as unsportsmanlike as an EDGE covering the RB
Here’s Mina talking to Domonique about the Rams infamous 4th down play. It sounds like DeMarcus Lawrence decided to freelance and take away Stafford’s hot read to Kyren Williams when he realized Julian Love was going to be out of position

You absolutely cannot roll this pepperoni pizza out in a league with Mike Macdonald and Sean McVay. Your head coach needs to be grinding tape 100 hours a week, not rolling out of bed at noon to soak in a tub of hoagie juice.
Nah this is crazy this guy is gonna kill himself by week 6

if bovino is out and conservatives are turning on noem then there is a real opportunity to demand that miller resign too.

genuinely, no one cares what I think, but Dems in Congress should shut down the government until Stephen Miller is ousted

My three year old learned the name Jake Bobo yesterday as “the guy who caught the ball” (she watched like three minutes of the game which happened to include the Bobo TD) and today is still running around yelling “Jake Bobo caught the ball” like a maniac.

Just thinking about how unlucky the Rams were that the first option on their perfect 4th down play was double covered (CLEAR ERROR) leaving them no choice but to rush fitting it in to their fourth option with an All Pro well positioned to cover. Just so unlucky and frankly unfair. Cruel fates!
