Don’t know what to say or do but each has massive expenses, including: three cases of children with hepatitis, a young woman whose health deteriorating from lupus, a single mom & baby who are getting thrown out of their apartment, a whole camp getting flooded tonight

Find me a piece of ed tech from the past thirty years that's genuinely more about student learning than it is about extracting more labor from fewer teachers. Can't be done!
Every pedagogical argument I see is essentially "You could use it to do something you already do but you will also have to do a lot of setup and double check everything it does."

Everyone should learn how to pronounce other people's names correctly as a basic rule to live by, but also - do it out of care! Isn't it cool to learn someone else's name, and to be given permission to use it? Don't you care enough about them to get it right?

Speaking as a planetary scientist - this sucks, and while it's presented as a practical solution to a problem of so many things being sent to the Moon, with dubious scientific advantages, it is fundamentally a way to poorly manage waste. The Moon deserves better.
