It absolutely breaks our heart that a mother with a crying child in the background, calls for a simple can of formula, and almost ever church rejects her. Wtf is wrong with these people? It's what, $40-50? Each person working in the church pitches in a few bucks and get that kid fed ffs.
Here’s a clip of just some of the responses the churches gave.

The request was just a small can of formula.

Thinking about the time I hatched some eggs in an incubator. Got a knock on the door a few days later. A kid stood there and asked, “Is this the house with the baby chickens? I was told I could see them.” He was told right.

The rest of the year is almost entirely unbooked, which means I’m writing, and writing, and writing.

I know several people who worked on this rollout. They were really proud of it.
The I.R.S. is shutting down its free online system for filing tax returns, a program that the Biden administration introduced last year and that users gave high marks.

Episode 3 of WELCOME TO DERRY ratchets up the horror. As Nigel Tufnel would say, "This one goes to eleven."

#Bookvember 4

In 6th grade we did a unit on medieval life, and I saw this book and became obsessed with it. All of these cross section books are amazing, especially when you read that Stephen Beisty did all of the work free hand. Not even a ruler, y'all. 👀

I asked my repair guy what he was doing after work tonight. The conversation ended with him showing me a video of him playing Beth by Kiss on ukulele. 10/10 interaction.
