I realised over Christmas that I’d never gotten my second MMR jab on account of childhood moves and policy changes. I emailed my GP and I just got it this morning, free on the NHS. It’s never too late and you can’t overdo it. Please get vaccinated.

Feels like society’s really broken down in the US in a way that’s deeply traumatic.
But also there are college students knocking on doors asking for shovels (they’re not well-prepared) and helping trapped motorists by shoveling and pushing out cars. Up to 24 of them now, wandering streets together

Since my treatment for Myeloma gave me mobility problems because of neuropathy, I've been much more aware of what 'accessible' seems to mean. Because of my work I'd been paying attention for years. And spotting the problems. Accessible. But go through the basement up the food lift. Loss of dignity.
