£222 is spent per pupil on supply teacher costs
That’s 3.91% of all teaching costs per student
Yet clean air costs less than the price of a pizza per child, per year

The big science accounts are talking about immune dysregulation due to COVID-19 now.
I. Told. You. So.
Infection does confer antibodies and T cells against C19… but it also takes a wrecking ball to the immune system as a whole.

They fly from Africa to breed here, only to find we've blocked their nest sites.
A £35 swift brick nest box was proposed for all new buildings.

It is a scandal that children cannot access COVID vaccines (even privately) in the UK.
I've never really understood the logic of "targeted vaccination".
Of course, money is a huge issue and we seek to get the most out of every £ spent.
Of course COVID and flu waves would be far worse without it.
But, what doesn't sit well for me is the following...

The health impact of a Covid infection was higher than the risks from the vaccine for teens and children - but it won't settle arguments over current vaccine policy

We can't solve problems until we admit that they are problems. The denialism around COVID is causing many of these issues but inevitably instead of clean indoor air public health protections we will just get more cruelty aimed at sick and disabled people.
The reason for this is multi-factorial, but the fact that Long Covid is not mentioned once is extremely telling. Especially since the article makes an explicit comparison with 2019.
