Wonderfully wet and wild.

Make up all the bug hotels and bird boxes you want, but without way more healthy wild natural habitats like this, nature will continue to crash.

Rewilding is how we make that happen.

If you go down to the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise. The woods are gone. There’s a road called ‘The Woods’ there instead, containing a load of fucking ghastly overpriced executive houses with identical shiny light grey interiors and pointless giant clocks in their living rooms.

Lord knows I could use the money, I live on carer's allowance, but it's NOT just a meaningless ticky box to me. I care about those kids. They matter.

Sometimes I feel like life itself is gaslighting me. Like wdym I have to fill out a risk assessment to use a library room to run a kids writing group, but we can just decide to throw tech that has *contributed to the death of multiple young people* at teenagers cos we think it'll probably be fine 🤞

Further, the fact that puberty blockers (which have been used safely for over thirty years) are banned due to a supposed lack of research into their long term effects, while AI is being pushed onto kids despite all evidence suggesting it poses a risk to their wellbeing and even lives, is outrageous.

I recently turned down work for a poetry festival because it involved using generative ai in a workshop with teenagers.

This highly addictive technology is literally causing and contributing to the death by suicide of vulnerable youth.

I'm aghast that anyone is okay with pushing this on teens.
1.This is not the only known example we know of ChatGPT cheering on a vulnerable young person to die by suicide, this time it is a recent Texas A&M grad
2. Every single university that has invited OpenAI into our midst should be asked to account for their choices.

Call me controversial, but technology that leads vulnerable people into crisis and even holds their hand as they die by suicide should not be endorsed by schools and universities, we should not be giving discounted subscriptions to this monstrous tech to young people AT ALL
The boyfriend of a friend of my son's has spent several weeks in a psych ward due to Chat GPT induced psychosis. He isn't suicidal but AI encouraged him down a toxic and paranoid wormhole until he became completely delusional. Evil stuff.

Please sign. Shared care is often people's only route to ADHD treatment, but it leaves patients at risk of having their care pulled at a moment's notice by a GP who just doesn't feel "comfortable" with it. They don't have to give a reason for this. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73...

This is a) utterly terrifying and b) vital. Don’t turn away. The crisis is fixable because it is, ultimately, political. We know the chemistry. We decline the action necessary.

We got so many apples this year, both from our tree and from my mother in law and from our neighbour across the road, that I've been making a big apple pudding each week and we've been having it for our breakfasts.
