As someone who grew up in Calgary and attended the U of C (I lived in the residences that were built for these Olympics), it was interesting to see the locations included in this film and how they were incorporated.

As someone who grew up in Calgary and attended the U of C (I lived in the residences that were built for these Olympics), it was interesting to see the locations included in this film and how they were incorporated.
As someone (queer) who is blessed enough to be able to spend time (as myself) with loved ones... hoping that Nour (and others like her in Palestine) take care this winter.

Just got off my video call with my Endocrinologist and while the physical changes of hrt are still minimal the mental health changes alone are worth it. As someone who struggled with "suicidal ideation" all my life even w/ therapy and meds suddenly its gone with HRT and I want that for trans kids.

This is highly consistent with the language about “parents’ rights.” Children have rights as they are people. Parents do not have rights over children. What will it take for people to understand this?!

If we could just take a fucking breath and admit "our kids are people, we don't get to decide who they are," and stop using "BUT THE CHILDREN" as a reason to attack trans people, and autistic people, and whoever else we've decided not to like, that would be cool.

Too many parents view their children as chattel, treat them as such, and then act surprised when their children cut them off.
I know this is something I circle back to a lot, but it honestly feels, to me, like half the attacks on our trans siblings roots back to "children aren't people." The doctor said "boy," so I get to be the parent of a boy child! Not a girl child! How dare my child want things I don't want?!
