Not a single UCP MLA voted against dear leader's wishes, even in her absence. Every single one of them stood (many times) in order to strip teachers like me (about 51 000 Albertans) of our rights as workers.
Shame.

The news that Lethbridge police got away with stalking, harassing and threatening Phillips because the chance of conviction was too low is an indictment of the entire justice system in Alberta.
More needs to be said about the strength and bravery of @sphillipsab.bsky.social to have gone through this for 8 years.

I'm Albertan.
We do NOT feed our poor.
Everyone has healthcare (dental care, mental health services, and pharmacare not included).
Our leadership is ideological and stripped me of my rights.
Unfortunately, some Albertans STILL want us to be the 51st.

I'm Canadian.
Our airports are open.
We feed our poor.
Everyone has healthcare.
We have allies.
We don't stab friends in the back.
Our leadership is sane and thoughtful.
We don't snatch people off the streets.
We have rule of law for everyone.
Why would anyone think we'd want to be a 51st state?

Tues Oct 28, I got an email from ATA Prez Jason Schilling with the subject "What you can do." I'm including a screenshot, but it asked teachers to send an email.
I was disappointed, ngl.
