Ultimately the issue we have is that government for the last 50 years has been a coalition of people actively working to make things worse, together with people who would like to make things better but agree the simple obvious things that work can't be done because it would upset the first group.
Letting agents can no longer say 'no DSS' on their listings but they say shit like 'must have an income of £52k'. They've just changed the wording FFS.
