Saint Paul schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare for optional online learning.

So the fascists and their helpers in Congress want to punish judges who rule against them. Laughable.
HR 7006, an appropriations bill, just started debates on amendments & the first one under consideration is a fascist one! Specifically, the amendment would cut funding of the DC District & Appeals Court by 20% & would not fund the salaries or expenses of staff of Judges Boasburg and Broadman.

ICE cannot lawfully enter your home without a warrant except in extreme situations that almost never apply. And yet, they are breaking down doors in Minnesota now. @quigley.house.gov what are you demanding be done about this?
Hey @deborahahrens.bsky.social or anyone else with specialized knowledge: I have now seen multiple videos of ICE and/or cops telling people that insisting on a warrant before allowing them to enter your home is obstruction of justice.

People keep saying “what can the Dems do?” For starters, they can stop voting on literally ANY bill that funds ICE. I don’t care what else it funds. Don’t vote yes. It’s simple.

So what do we do about this? It’s beyond appalling. As a lawyer, I support every prosecutor who quit over this but we need to see even MORE DOJ employees across the country quitting as well.
This is appalling: Top DOJ officials are actively pushing for a criminal investigation into the widow of Renee Good, leading prosecutors to quit en masse, NYT is reporting.
Who in the White House ordered DOJ to do this? That's the next thing to establish.

The state and city are asking the court to, among other things, bar Border Patrol from conducting civil immigration enforcement in IL without Congressional authorization, to declare DHS et al have violated 10A (which establishes federalism), & to check defendants' use of tear gas and other tactics.
