“It isn’t people seeking sanctuary who are tearing our country apart. It’s toxic, racist narratives and the scapegoating of migrants for crises they did not cause.”

Carla Denyer challenges the Home Secretary's new immigration reforms saying they just fuel far-right narratives.

HE SHOULD BE WANTED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. He should not be seen with a child alone.
This is who they are and who they have always been.

Say what you like about a wet weekend but by heck it's an opportunity to get stuff done - it's been solid printing / cutting / folding here, meaning I now have a (very limited) stock of Marginal, my photobook. Better work out how to sell it or there'll be a lot left for next year's #yorkopenstudios

This is the most beautiful and moving story, of a woman in her early 20s who’s travelling on public transport, when her dad encourages her to get a bike out of the shed and start riding. Read it and weep!

Brilliant to see my daughter Sabine’s first article in print in the Ham & High www.hamhigh.co.uk/news/255880..., telling her story about the day she stopped waiting for the bus – and started saving £1,000 a year.

A great way to fight back against AI taking away work from creatives is to buy art by actual humans.

It's rubbish coffee anyway.
Starbucks baristas have done everything right — organized, bargained, and stood together.

But the CEO still refuses to offer a fair contract or end union busting.

If baristas go on ULP strike, our response is simply DON’T BUY STARBUCKS.

There’s no screening for ovarian cancer and it’s really difficult to spot: you can’t squidge your ovaries in the shower to check for lumps. Also it’s very good at masquerading at other things, like IBS and diverticulitis.

Please take a look at this list of symptoms - and share if you can.
