Cool to see these coming from VS. I liked Haunted Tales a lot, Hell Has no Boundary pretty well, and I haven’t seen Sex Beyond the Grave yet. Of note is that I believe Haunted Tales and Sex Beyond were both VCD only releases in HK (although Sex does have the recent AU blu release from Imprint).

Been dealing with lots of little loose end things I pushed aside while finishing Reckless Cricket. Was going to try to get back at it this week, but now one of my wife’s caregivers is out the rest of the week and I have to do her hours. So it goes. Maybe next week!

Pete Townshend hasn’t released a solo album since 1993, but the day after I post the Pete Townshend Potato, he says in an interview that he has 140 tracks basically ready to go after the final North American Who shows. I can’t wait!
One of my favorite Internet finds was the "Pete Townshend Potato" on eBay. It has provided me with a lifetime of laughs ever since. Attached is the listing photo that I've transferred to every computer I've ever had. I looked it up and it was 2005, so happy 20th anniversary Pete Townshend Potato.

Just found out that Jimmy Lin, the super swinging star of the awesome Singing Thief and Tropicana Interlude has passed away aged 92. The Singing Thief was released by Eureka fairly recently, and is highly recommended for fans of groovy 60s action. 92 is a good run, but still sad. Rest in Peace King.

I wrote the first draft of my Reckless Cricket review today. Looking forward to the next film, I see in Shaw Screen that Shaolin Rescuers is a Cantonese production. Shout’s blu is Mandarin or English only, IVL DVD has both. Almost bought one, but I checked my iTunes copy and it’s Cantonese! Hurray

Just finished watching Reckless Cricket with my subs. Very fun. Caught a few issues that I have to fix, but other than that it’s pretty nice. Just need to write the review. Next week is looking good for finally being done. 🦗🎉
