One of my favorite Internet finds was the "Pete Townshend Potato" on eBay. It has provided me with a lifetime of laughs ever since. Attached is the listing photo that I've transferred to every computer I've ever had. I looked it up and it was 2005, so happy 20th anniversary Pete Townshend Potato.

Watched Chilli Laugh Story tonight, my final LNY movie of the year. Really enjoyed it. I liked Gigi Leung and Ronald Cheng together a lot, and newcomer Edan Lui was great, too. I thought Sandra Ng would be in it more, but I'll take what I can get! Wish I knew more and could recognize all the cameos.

Also got the latest HK order from DDDHouse and I was very surprised to see a DVD-size blu-ray! Presented with my old HK DVD bootleg of North by Northwest and another HK Blu-ray for scale. Neato!

Got my Allen Toussaint and LNY stamps! I was so excited to see Toussaint get a stamp, one of the great New Orleans songwriters.

Happy to see that Kao Pao-Shu’s Lady with a Sword is getting a release from 88 Films. Despite the generic title, it’s a good lil’ wuxia (with a female director, as far as I know unheard of at Shaw at this time).

I’m looking forward to revisiting this one on the new blu-ray. It looked like this when I saw it 😂

Watched Hail the Judge last night. I enjoyed it a lot, but it makes me wish I knew Cantonese. I was surprised to understand a few more words than usual due to working on the Reckless Cricket subs, though. Funnily enough I understood ming baak which means “to understand” 😂

Neil Young answered my question. Looks like I just need to stay patient for more of the Old Ways outtakes. 😊
