Logging off after this but this Noah Smith post is going to be one of the things they hang in the museum to explain how a bunch of white assholes got so bored with their makework jobs that they decided to hate women and non-white people so much they destroyed the

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed
Public school teachers perform one of the most important functions in society while being severely under compensated & mostly unrecognized for their contributions to this country.

A truly unhinged, out-of-touch & elitist take.

Whenever I problems nowadays, particularly for the runway of companies, for innovation, and progress, the underlying issue is always the cost to have a roof over your head.

When you read books about 70s to 90s innovation, the reason they’re even able to try something is because housing was so cheap
if you asked me to diagnose the western game industry's current problem it would start with "landlords have absorbed basically all disposable income"

"Vulgar" comes from a Latin word for "popular/common."

"Villain" comes from a Latin name for a worker at a rustic villa.

"Trivial" comes from a Latin word for a public space where commoners congregated.

Those Fuckers (C) made language itself anti-working class.

Folks have noted that shutting down DHS also means shutting down FEMA. But it's important to remember that Trump already has been fighting to deny $233 million in FEMA funding to blue states. www.ksbw.com/article/judg...

One reason I keep saying that Trump's departure won't end our fascism problem is that every Republican presidential aspirant (even those who 10 years ago were "normal") are talking like twitter nazis now
The Rubio speech really is appalling, and if you haven’t read it yet, you should.

The first official reference to them as siblings was in a 2008 Sunday strip by Hy Eisman. Prior, it was said they were twins in a comic by Ocean Comics, but it was licensed and non canon. The British week comic TV Comics had Brutus as Bluto's cousin, but again non-canon.
When did Bluto and Brutus become brothers? I’d always assumed they were a rename of the same character.

1970s?
The official Popeye account on Twitter reposted this strip I did, so I decided to share it here, too. One of my favorite Popeye comics I've drawn.
