This is just the reductio ad absurdum of modern journalism. Reporters are no longer in the background, they think they are now the product. They cultivate sources for scoops that grow their social media, get them booked on cable TV, and those sweet sweet book deals. It's all they care about.

A lot of dudes lie to themselves about what women want cause they don't have enough game to pull a woman. And by game I mean being able to hold a convo not about sex or sports.
This is so typical. The large majority of women do not expect men to be tall or rich because most aren't. That is a lie men tell each other. Women DO expect men to be kind, self sufficient, have some integrity and ambition. That shouldn't be too high a bar.
