So this black French guy posted a video of him attending a 19th century themed party, and black people were calling him the butler. Telling him he’s still a nigga. He’s a coon for wanting to be there… his hairline… I had a TOTALLY different perspective.

Doing genealogy work is bittersweet. On one hand I found an amazing document and on the other hand it contains such sad information. To know that my 4x great grandfather had a life with someone that was ripped away by force because either one or both of them were sold away is heartbreaking.

It wasn’t caving in when universities slashed entire programs and policies that supported students, staff, and faculty to appease conservatives…and its not caving in when the Democrats concede to the Republicans.
