I hate to be mean to Lyft drivers, God's strongest warriors, but when I call and say "hi can you come to the actual pickup location, I can see you but I can't walk that far," she should not say "that's fine I'll wait!" I didn't mean I can't move fast. I meant I literally cannot walk to where you are

Most of the internet used to be like this. This is actually the default, it took companies enclosing the internet and adding weird, soul-killing incentives to make people behave the way they do now. In a way, there is truly nothing special about Wikipedia except that it survived longer.
