TBH, I find it depressing that Canada has never elected a woman prime minister in a general election.
(The only woman to be PM of Canada was selected by her party to take over after a different PM stepped down. She contested one election and suffered the worst electoral loss in Canadian history.)

It's not absurd to say that a lot of new dance music that's being put out now has already been done by a person in Chicago or Detroit 30-40 years ago. It also bothers me seeing scalpers resell their records for an insane while the original artist(s) have made little to money after putting them out
Also, it’s videos like these that make the conversation about dance music muddy. The industry fucked over a lot of Black artists and still does. However, the culture itself has always been DEEPLY reverential and VERY well-versed in it’s history.
One of my all-time favorite songs!
