OK, so Musk was planning to go to Epstein's island, but it's not like he went there with the intent to go to a wild party or something, it was probably just some business. Excuse me, an email just came in.

*Reads:* "What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?"

Only 42% of *Republicans* are extremely confident that Donald Trump is acting ethically in office.

Barely more than half of *Republicans* are extremely confident that Trump respects the country's democratic values.

Honestly...please let them nominate him again.
Sorry I cannot alt-text this one. Here's the link. Pretty remarkable.

Whitney Cummings contributing to The Daily Show is just antithetical to what The Daily Show is.

Like...what were they thinking here?

Better late than never, I guess. But this is just another example of Dem leadership waiting to see which way the winds of public opinion are blowing before staking out a position on something, which is just the opposite of the definition of 'leadership'.
Schumer calls for Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller to be removed from their jobs.

It's so painfully obvious that the reverse of this is true.

The fraud claims were essentially an astroturf campaign aimed at getting public support for ICE/CBP's immigration enforcement actions.

The fraud claims are the distraction.
Trump: "A lot of what's going on with respect to Minneapolis -- with all the hoopla -- is so people don't talk about the fraud. It's a distraction."

We should all pause and marvel at the depth of the courage of Alex Pretti.

He had an encounter with ICE a week before they killed him where he thought he was going to die, and that didn't deter him from returning to protect his neighbors the next week.

We should all aspire to be so courageous.
My gosh. Alex Pretti was notifying neighbors that Trump and Vance's agents were chasing a family. A mob of agents then tackled him and broke his rib.

He thought he was going to die.

Then the very next week, he came back out to support his neighbors.

And a mob of agents killed him.

The Jets plan:
January 27, 2026 at 7:13 PM
The phrases 'scoops of ideas' and 'scoops of explanation' are aggressively dumb, but Bari's intent here is clear. The plan for CBS News is to lean harder into commentary and opinion.

She also said that CBS needs to earn back viewers' trust, and this is the opposite of how to do that
The best part is that she's insisting they need to communicate clearly and transparently while sounding like Teddy Ruxpin doll trained in corporate buzzwords

One thing that I think does unify all of us on all sides of the political spectrum...

None of us want to watch the Melania documentary.
Melania Trump: "We need to unify. I'm calling for unity."

I understand that the GOP has control of the House and Senate, and that getting ICE abolished probably isn't realistic until that changes...but why do Dems constantly insist on making the compromise deal their *starting point* in negotiations?
Dems coalescing around 5 restrictions on ICE, I'm told:

DHS required to cooperate with state probes (big)
CBP stays at border
warrants for arrests
IDs, bodycams
ICE out of churches, schools

"That package unites a lot of Dems," Sen Chris Murphy tells me on the pod:

A Dem Senator’s Harsh Takedown of Trump Hits Home: “Breaking Point”
As Trump scrambles to contain the damage from the latest ICE horrors, Senator Chris Murphy offers a sharp indictment of Trump-ICE lawlessness—and explains how Dems can meet the urgency of the moment.

Not gonna lie, my gut reaction when I saw that Shedeur Sanders was selected to the Pro Bowl as a replacement player was - this is the death knell for the Pro Bowl. It's now dead.

Then I looked up who the last 3 AFC Pro Bowl QB3s were...

Tyler Huntley
Gardner Minshew
Russ Wilson

It's been dead.

Quentin Lake literally did the motion that refs use to signal pass interference to shove Shaheed before the ball got there.

That's a missed call.
January 26, 2026 at 2:35 AM
Whether you agree with the taunting call or not, you have to see the humor in Riq Woolen getting called for taunting right after a play where he dropped an interception.

Dropped a pick and then went right to the Rams' sideline to talk his shit

The Broncos and Patriots combined for 387 total yards in the AFC title game today.

The Seahawks and Rams just combined for 443 total yards in the first half.

Noem's mention of uncovering fraud here should reiterate that everything going on in the Twin Cities was premeditated by the administration.

Nick Shirley's viral video 'investigating fraud' purported itself to be a work of independent citizen journalism, but it's since been confirmed...
Kristi Noem: "These are not just agitators anymore. They are violent protests. Frankly, this didn't turn violent until we uncovered the fraud in Minneapolis."

Imagine how black-and-white DHS realizes it is that they're in the wrong here that they won't let Kash Patel's FBI investigate it.
MS NOW: "I'm just getting something handed to me -- a statement from DHS -- that it will investigate the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old protester by its officers rather than the FBI. So they're gonna be investigating that which they already issued a summary about. It would seem like a closed book."

Days like today, I don't know that I see a path for the country to ever truly get back to normal even when the Trump administration is far in the rear view.

I know Trump's approval is underwater, but there's like a firm 30-35% of the US population that is fully on board with this.

The man ICE murdered this morning was an ICU nurse at a VA hospital.

And the federal gov't is painting him as a radical terrorist who wanted to massacre ICE agents.

This gov't is just a bottomless pit of depravity.
Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

Lowe's, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Amazon, Ace Hardware.

Plenty of everyday places sell gas masks.

Also, of course the locals are organized. Why wouldn't they be? They're under assault by an occupying federal force. Banding together is how to fight back - strength in numbers.
Bondi: "It's extremely organized. The signs they have are all matching, they're well written. And look at what's happening today. How did these people go out & get gas masks? These protesters. Would you know how to walk out on the street and buy a gas mask? Think about that. We're not gonna have it"
January 24, 2026 at 8:00 PM
There's no other word to describe this other than murder.

Prison is too good for every ICE agent involved.

Same goes for the administration leaders who continue to provide cover this - Noem, Miller, Vance, Bovino, Homan, Blanche, etc.

This martyr could be any of us. He is doing what so many of us have been trained to do. Standing and recording on his phone, trying to warn his neighbors, and now he’s dead because armed, masked federal paramilitaries are acting with impunity to perform ethnic cleansing.
Video before it happens is showing this guy they shot in the head in Minneapolis was just standing there videoing them before and they got out to push him back and then murder him.

I'd like to see elected Dems work to secure the release of the non-celebrities too, but also, how on earth can foreign participants in the World Cup feel safe about coming to the US to participate?
