Not a car drifted by on the quiet street. He’d gotten under her guard because of her blind dash, but seeing the knife cleared her mind and his lurching approach triggered an instant response. Likely not the one he expected…

Here’s my status update. I’m just past 5,000 words in my latest entry in the Ariana Joins the Scouts series. I skipped the first chapter and just wrote a quick sketch of it. I started on Chap 2 and now almost to the end of Chap 3. Tentative bad title is Asteroid Raiders.
