seeing this a week after people crawled out of nowhere to say that valve shouldn't be questioned for canning HORSES because they have clear and inviolable moral grounds they expect people to abide by is genuinely infuriating. we all knew it was pretense but to see it so transparently, my god
Valve has now rejected my complaint, confirming that "I don't like muslims" is a valid reason to leave a negative review on a game on Steam

Everyone imitates Tolkien all the time except when it comes to the one way it would really matter: making the protagonist of your novel for children a short, fat, 50-year-old man who doesn't want to do anything.

I also did some animation keyframing for a couple of the characters' movesets. Really happy with the Black Panther keys- it's just fun to see my poses running around on screen (and he moves like a ninja)!

It's good that they do, but I hope they're left to explore it on their own terms. Some people can be really frickin' weird about how younger people 'should' interact with retro tech. And with some of it, hacked consoles and ROMs are the only way of playing games due to the cost of some classics.
