That coffee shop feeling—when you see the sign before tasting anything and feel that little lift? That's your brain time-travelling.
New McGill research published in Nature shows neurons literally shift backward in time. Scientists watched it happen.

Your brain is brilliantly lazy—and new MIT research proves that's why you're so efficient.
For decades, scientists thought we were "rational economists" scanning entire environments, building perfect 3D maps, calculating optimal paths before moving.
We were wrong.

Why surface proteins matter: They're what our immune systems recognize.

23 amino acid differences. 11 changes on the "neuraminidase dark side"—the exact region our broad-spectrum antibodies target.

Existing cross-protection? Possibly compromised.

By measuring the CO2 level in a room, you can determine the level of investment made in its ventilation and therefore the importance given to the comfort and health of its occupants. Our interpretation is below.

Consider how people respond to an ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, including Healthcare Workers, Public Health Workers, and many individuals... This might start to explain why.
You think you're making rational choices. The checkout line. Your insurance plan. How much to save.
But here's the truth: Someone designed those choices. The environment is never neutral.
This is choice architecture—the invisible hand shaping your life.

Your brain starts in chaos. Instead of fighting it, what if you learned to dance with it?

New AI research on "predictive alignment" reveals we've had learning backwards all along. The chaos isn't a bug to be fixed—it's the feature from which intelligence emerges. 🧠✨

We are working with the federal government to encourage adoption of ASHRAE 241 ventilation standards in new and existing buildings.

Our work is currently focused through ISED / ISDE.

Evidently, ASHRAE 241 has been pushed to the 2030 revision of the Canadian Building Code.
When the prime minister nearly died of COVID-19, the UK's succession plan consisted of a verbal instruction. Not written. Not formal. Just good fortune that key decisions had already been made. That detail captures something essential: how institutions are held together. Not by design. By luck.
