Retired after more than 3 decades at DOJ's Environment & Natural Resources Division, which was a great place to work--home to many of the nation's best lawyers. NO DM, PORN, or SOLICITATION! Looking for news, analysis, and gallows humor, not love or sex.

The military gave a sophisticated, anti-drone laser (the use of which endangers commercial airspace) to Kristi Noem!

Yes, this is the same Noem who shot her misbehaving puppy and murdered two people in Minneapolis for exercising their constitutional rights to assembly and free speech.

Remember that Board of Peace that the UN Security authorized for the transition in Gaza?

True to form, Felonious Rump designated himself by name as Chair, rather than the US President. And if he resigns or is removed (by 2/3 of the board), he still gets to designate the next chair.
Key Questions About Trump's Board of Peace
Trump's creation of the Board of Peace to lead global peace-building raises questions about structure, control, and legitimacy.

As my Twitter account has long been abandoned, why not make a thread of my madness on BlueSky?
