33 (!) years on, still a perfect song.

From the first shotgun rack of Johnny’s guitar before the chorus, to Thom belting “run,” and all points before, between, and after: perfection.

The great thing about this is that you know there are 50 people around him trying various strategies they recall from parenting a toddler or training a puppy to get him to stop bringing up Epstein, and none of it is working. Right now they're baking him an Optimus Prime cake and hoping for the best.

How about if they take the existing ACA, with last year's subsidy levels, and just officially name it Trumpcare? Or Republicare?

It's always been the "Obama" part that makes them unhinged. Just take that part away and let people go about as they did. Problem solved.
NEW: As health insurance bills rise, Republicans are still seeking an Obamacare alternative

There is no legislative product yet.

No consensus in the party about a plan.

But top GOP lawmakers and policy figures on Capitol Hill have begun discussing concepts.

When dems start formally declaring for 28, I want to know who their Attorney General nominee will be, even before they talk about VP.
i’ve said this before and i remain convinced it’s true, the 2028 platform that would deliver obama 08 results is “i am gonna
bring the hammer down on the corrupt self-dealing politicians and their rich friends and there are no sacred cows id give a pass”

It's why I think there will be no consequences for any of these miscreants. It's because there never are.
The crisis of elite impunity that is ruining our society cannot be more clearly or convincingly demonstrated than with the fact that all of these people wrote all this stuff into an email and hit Send.

I feel like when I was a kid, the northern lights were a total impossibility at this latitude. Just never happened. Now, if we're lucky, we get a couple shows a year. Am I misremembering, or has something changed? Is the sun more active? Or is it just that we have phones that can see it now?

Aurora color guide! What creates the different shades?

Different atoms getting "excited" at different altitudes

I understand the desire for a deus ex machina to sweep in and save us. I fell for it a couple times in the past, too. Mueller, the NY criminal convictions, SCOTUS keeping him off the ballot, etc.

Hopium, ultimately. All of it.

Good for her, and for the people of her district.

p.s. literally nothing will change when the Epstein files are released
BIG NEWS: Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva will finally be sworn in as a member of Congress tomorrow.

She is likely to be the 218th vote on the Epstein discharge petition, which would force a full vote to release the Epstein files in their entirety.

Every headline should include his age, especially if it’s a story about one of his unhinged rants.
Trump was up late Monday night trying to bully the Supreme Court into upholding his signature economic policy by warning of a national “drubbing” if it went against him.

He is a computer safety researcher.
