The most inspiring chapters in our nation's history came when Americans faced down some of our country's darkest demons.

Those moments, like our own, were difficult to live through but also brought the chance to bring out the best in us, with enduring consequences.

"Wine moms" or "resistance libs" or whatever they're called are basically the only faction that hasn't shamed or embarrassed themselves over the last decade, and probably our only hope, so put respect on their f'ing name.

Hello! The US housing market has gotten very expensive, but I still dream of one day owning a home in a walkable neighborhood. In that spirit, I'm offering my consulting services. If you support the Trump tariffs, I can help you find US suppliers. Let me show you some examples. 🧵

My oath is to the Constitution of our state and of our country.

We don’t have kings in America – and I don’t intend to bend the knee to one.

I am not speaking up in service to my ambitions — but in deference to my obligations.

Today’s my last day posting original content and engaging on Twitter for the foreseeable future. If it becoming a cesspool wasn’t enough, a place where amplification is paid for and where absurdity is monetarily awarded, it’s now controlled by someone who think he’s part of the state. I’m good.

For all the talk about elevating dudes like Andrew Tate as the peak of masculinity, Jimmy Carter seemed pretty damn masculine for his time.

Four years ago, Donald Trump incited a violent, unprecedented assault on American democracy.

Ever since, the GOP has sought to rewrite history—to deny what all of us saw, and the plot that fomented it.

They’ve been winning the information war. As Democrats, we can not back down from this fight. 🧵

This poor mom is dealing with her son who believes that 1990 was nearly 35 years ago.

Our education system is in tatters when kids don’t know how to do basic math.

1990 was 11 years ago.

I worked in social services for 15 years. Homeless, or housing insecurity, is most common when foster youth age out and have no shelter system access, which you want to gut further. Also, many are LGBTQ kids thrown out of their homes by their bigoted parents. Also something you have experience with.

The Hunter Biden story is a perfect encapsulation of what’s wrong with American media:

Is it a story? Sure.

But every newspaper in America devoting front page headlines to Hunter fucking Biden while Trump appoints a cabal of rapists, racists and con-men to positions of enormous power is MADNESS.

I look at this accurate headline, and I just find it to be so infuriating and utterly depressing.

She should be celebrating and excited to get to work, like any freshman member.

She should be able to celebrate her historic achievement.

Instead, she’s fending off attacks she did nothing to ignite.
