Secretary Kennedy presents a clear and present danger to the American people and their families. This week, even more of our colleagues in the fields of medicine, public health and patient advocacy join us in calling for his resignation.

Has everyone forgotten the endpoints of the original COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials? They were designed to prevent hospitalizations & deaths. Transmission reduction was observed, but total transmission prevention was never promised.
This is a bad-faith argument against vaccine effectiveness.

Meissner pushing the dying "with COVID" vs "from COVID" and arguing with an actual epidemiologist about disease burden and cumulative rates is shameful.

He just said it's "not that high" with regard to pediatric severe outcomes.

Unbelievable ignorance about population health & basic statistics.

It bugs me when people say that RFK Jr. and the members of ACIP aren’t “serious people”.

They are DEADLY serious about taking vaccines away from the people of the United States, and they have the power to do so.

EtR (evidence to Recommendations) is gone. We're now forming vaccine policy based on vibes and public opinion.
Mallone admits they are making a decision not based on a safety signal...but on trust? There is no reason to defer the Hep B birth dose except to advance the anti-vaccine agenda.

I *hate* the use of the phrase "true [saline] placebo." It is usually in combination with claims that comparing against saline is the only real/ethical way to measure safety & efficacy. It isn't. That phrase has captivated an entire population of parents who genuinely want to make informed choices

Martin Kulldorff, whom RFK Jr. chose to lead ACIP in order to push through his anti-vaccine agenda, has demanded a debate with former CDC scientists.

Kulldorff begins his demand with a lie: “The fact is that we are honest vaccine scientists…”

Most of them are not “vaccine scientists” at all.

The opposite is true. @ameracadpeds.bsky.social will become even more valuable while this hijacked ACIP becomes irrelevant.

Did Kulldorff really claim he was the most pro-vaccine scientist in the country? This revisionist history rant is absolutely deranged.

There it is...the first hint of his autism findings due later this month. He is once again connecting the MMR vaccine with the onset of autism in children. #FireRFK

Cortez Masto is absolutely right! He DID unilaterally make the decision to restrict access to COVID-19 vaccines. It was not evidence-based, and his move to fire the CDC Director last week was the last step he needed to ensure his plan was not derailed. #FireRFK

It's time for RFK Jr. to resign. He has incited this violence for years with his anti-science, anti-vaccine, anti-public health rhetoric.

Robert Malone once again brought up potential religious objections to certain vaccines.

This is, frankly, bullshit. No major religion opposes vaccines, and in fact they have all been public about strong support for them.

This week's ACIP meeting was full of the same intentionally misleading fearmongering that causes vaccine hesitancy. Children and families deserve better — public health information grounded in science.
June 26, 2025 at 5:50 PM
What you just witnessed at ACIP is policy-based evidence making NOT evidence-based policy-making.

See the difference?

The former is about confirming a previously held bias (this time about thimerosal) by misrepresenting data to make it fit an ideology.

This is a dangerous precedent.
June 26, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Thimerosal is safe and does not cause harm.

Do not fall for the "hope for other, better preservatives" to reinstate multi-dose vials of influenza vaccine. This is a sham.

What. Is. Happening.

ACIP doesn't issue mandates.
