AUTOCORRECT

When the world's first automated prison becomes a death trap overnight, two women must fight for each other and a way out.

It's ROBOCOP meets ESCAPE ROOM. Combining horror and humour for a darkly twisted take on Corporate America and AI.

hey #scriptsky! wake up!
I’ve added the script for Wake Up Dead Man to my site. This is the final shooting script, so it has stuff that was cut and moved around, which I always think is more interesting to see than a conformed cleaned up version. Enjoy! www.rian-johnson.com/screenplays

Driving test cheating soars with use of headsets and impersonators
Experts blamed persistently long waits for practical tests while the DVSA blamed better detection.

There's *literally* no writer I've met who wants to outsource lore or world building.

Item descriptions, UI text, even dialogue, sure! But *world building*? That's your little sandbox, that's a lil reward for a whole day of writing barks
Heck, I need to tell new writers to stop focusing on lore!
Whenever I hear devs or other creatives who do worldbuilding say they *have* to use ch*tGPT to help with their lore bibles because no human could possibly collate such a huge and complex world… I glare in historian

Short writing thread: I rewatched FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL last week. Still think it's basically a perfect rom-com. More quotables than I can list and it really digs into all the main characters.

I felt like if you presented this as a spec, there's one note that reps & execs would give as a reflex

A heads up to the film people when they're like "maybe I'll just go into games for money"

Afraid not!
Mark it.

Two weeks into 2026 and I already know about more games industry layoff waves than in all of 2021, impacting about five times as many people that we know of.

We're still so far from 'normal'

We need to talk about this openly. Don't struggle alone. 💞

One day only!

Also, for casting: one character is a young trans woman.

Thank you for making this happen, @swanieprods.bsky.social! I’ve long wanted to hear this script on its feet and it means so much that you’re doing this.

Still looking for someone who can speak from this perspective. Do you exist? If so, let me know!
Hey folks,

I'm looking to speak to a developer who has previously made a game/games through Steam early access, and decided NOT to make their next/current project through early access. If that's you, get in touch at rick@ricklane.co.uk. Reposts appreciated.

It's a short important bits are
- ritual

I'm stuck on a title for horror short:
"Haunted by her ex-husband, a woman performs a risky wiccan ritual to summon the his ghost to banish him for good, but saying goodbye won't be so easy..."

Which one stands out for you folks?
