Agreed. I think the Cinematic Univerisification of every property has done real harm to storytelling in the big screen and I'm ready for the next phase: Don't build me a world, build me a *folklore*. A *mythos*. Like the cults of ancient Greece, tell me a hundred conflicting stories true in spirit.
