Three years ago, Matteo Rizzo was one of the skaters after my short program in Kaunas, Lithuania, he went with me to get a coffee and we talked a lot. He got the bronze medal two days ago and I'm really proud. I cannot wish anyone else to get a medal more than him.

An underrated pleasure of the Olympics is watching people fall in love with your sport in real time. Someone is going to watch Donovan Carrillo, Alysa Liu, or ice dance for the first time this Olympics & become a figure skating fan. They're experiencing the magic for the first time.
