Just got gassed pretty good at the labor union anti-ICE protest in Portland. Massive march, 5-10k strong. Vibes were very much liberal rather than radical. Lots of kids and older folks.
They gassed the whole crowd as soon as it marched on ICE, in broad daylight.

👀 Every Senate Democrat + Collins and Murkowski just voted for the Bernie Sanders amendment to repeal the $75 billion in additional ICE funding under Trump’s “big beautiful bill.” The measure failed 49-51.

My grandma from Iowa told a story from when I was 2: I made my parents put “La Bamba” and “Dueña de mi Corazón” back to back on a cassette and we listened to it all the way from Dallas to Boston. My grandma said she thought she could sing both songs after that (she never learned Spanish)

Given that any "training" or "practice" mandate imposed on ICE will depend on the Klansmen and Nazis of the Trump administration following through, I don't understand why the top priority for Democrats is not *taking away money* from ICE. It is the biggest source of actual leverage.
