I really wish more of the figure skating and gymnastics (particularly NCAA teams) communities would move over here from the former bird app. I'm not actively on it anymore but based on screenshots from IG and chatter on Reddit, too much of the conversation is still happening there. It sucks!

ICE has now carried out two summary executions of innocent people in the streets of an American city.

We moved to Teams last fall (😒) and I really do miss the emoji status method. I used to use 🚫 or ⛔️ because the little palm tree didn't feel stern enough 🤣 The purple-ish OOO doesn't hit the same 😔
Nothing hits like that "I'm on vacation, don't you dare message me" emoji on Slack.

My train home is CRAWLING through Queens but at least I'm distracted by the voices of these three angels still in my head and will be for a few days. Goodness gracious they are all incredible. (And I still love Bryce Pinkham so damn much too.) Really fun to revisit this. Need that cast album soon!!

I did not get elected to the BBHOF today but I did get final confirmation that I will be a homeowner as of next Thursday, so congrats to me as well I guess. (I am so tired and stressed and anxious and this process has taken FOREVER. I suppose at some point I will also be excited.)

That Cashman part about Carlos & pushing for interpreters is so important. He once did that himself for Yangervis Solarte for postgame on-field interviews when Solarte was a rookie and had a breakout game. I wish I could find that video (I didn't try very hard), but it really stuck with me.
