So grateful to be able to get back to, ahem, the room where it happens (sorry). Leslie's Burr is as incredible as I remember it. Different now! But still out of this world. The cast was phenomenal. Seeing this puts me squarely back in a 2016 place, & that really hit hard in a way I wasn't expecting.

Went for the 8th time (over ~2.5 years) tonight, may do #9 next weekend since the actor we specifically went to see was out 😬 I really do love it every time though. And this was my first time seeing a lot of new folks in the cast, I love how they make the roles their own 🩷 And it's red bucket time!

I have several baseball-related (and frankly, journalism-related) thoughts, but this was a ton of fun. Ana is exactly the Lola I was expecting (that's a compliment, I love her), Jordan's voice remains a national treasure, & Rob is having the time of his life. Bryonha Marie as Meg was also fantastic.

I mostly remembered how to do this! I used my usual marking for offensive subs for the first few pitching changes before realizing my mistake, but that's why I still do it in pencil. This is page 17 of 30 in the book I have that I started using in 2019. Gonna be hilarious when I finally finish it.

Doing my first solo home game of the year today and breaking out the scorebook for the first time in nearly 18 months. Always fun to look at the last completed page in my book when I have a big gap.

I've seen some videos and photos. It's obviously very disappointing. (Gerrit in particular bums me out; Stanton unsurprisingly remains a king.) But anyone surprised about the captain hasn't ever paid attention. Anyway. Great timing this morning for the first 2026 payment to go through 😒

I love this damn show so much. Wayne Brady was fantastic as Zidler and Taye Diggs makes a great Duke. We had understudies for Christian and Satine but they were both fabulous. This was my first time (in 6 viewings) seeing anyone other than Aaron Tveit in the role and it was still phenomenal ❤️🎭
