So there I was, New Years Day, 2000. The exact moment in life when I would choose between a path of wealth and success, or a blue hedgehog

All this discussion of networking and making friends has been deeply alienating to me, as someone who can make neither friends NOR professional contacts due to being immensely off-putting in a way that is somehow obvious to everyone I meet but no one will explain it to me

I am so Mario Kart-brained that I assumed the white area of this car track was a big puffy cloud with a little angry face on it

Mon Amour is so damn fun y'all — I guarantee you'll die not even a second after starting a level, & laugh.

I've 100%'d the game when it came out, & think I'm due for a replay, cause it's such a good time, & the music is great

It’s not Larian’s fault but it chaps my ass that because they’re Larian they can have a trailer with a full on orgy in it in the middle of the Game Awards and meanwhile adult content in games everywhere else is getting cracked down on left and right.

Chris Person takes a look at Horses, "the indie game that is too scandalous for either Valve or Epic, is only beyond the pale if you're not familiar with any other art form" (quoted from the article blurb).

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.
