Many people don't trust #NZpolice. 2024 report from survey of ~600 women, trans people and non-binary survivors about experiences re violence compaints. Most said cops involvement made them less safe + sometimes encouraged their abuser cos of police inaction.

Just got back from 2 weeks away & I am showered, fed, caffienated & watered. I've had my headphones on, but no sound selected for going on 40 min. Looking forward to remembering what stuff I bought & putting the new magnets on the fridge. Didn't get a Tokyo one, sadly, the ones I saw were too ugly

"Here in New Zealand, RNZ is at the top of the trust tree. But we're still only getting about half of the people reliably trusting us. I think that speaks to a burning platform.

Wouldn’t be so many homeless if Bishop hadn’t paid Bill English $500k to lie about The state house build and they stopped THOUSANDS of houses scheduled to be built, and handed billions to landlords.
They made homelessness exponentially worse on fucking purpose. To make their mates richer.
