In the fight against slavery abolitionists eventually prevailed over slave owners. The fight wasnt won in the sensible centre but by ‘extremists’ who risked everything to save the lives of others. It scares me to think how the ABC would cover such a debate today. theconversation.com/friday-essay...
Friday essay: The dangers of centrism in a time of crisis
The science says we need to rush on climate change, but centrists like our PM are still telling us it’s not yet time to stop building new gas or coal mines.

A sobering fact is that prescribed burning is not the panacea it’s been made out to be

Does the cultural establishment recognise a cultural event when they see one?
or would they rather censor the Harbour Bridge march?

It’s alleged that First Nations man Mr Robert Barnes been kept in solitary confinement in SA’s Yatala Labour Prison for 800 days. (The UN prohibits solitary for more than 15). Cultural support has been denied. His well being is on the line. Time for an Inquiry that gives us some answers Premier.
