I watched A House Of Dynamite last night. Very much enjoyed it and liked the ending. Some of the negative opinions on the way it ended are amusing.

Just found my first major bug in Sins2. Playing as Advent for the first time. The defending Vasari starbase has moved out of the gravity well so far that my ships can't pursue it. I can't attack the planet because the planetary shield on it requires the starbase to be destroyed first.

Sins of a Solar Empire 2 might just have one of the slickest game interfaces ever. I bought it on day one but am only now playing it more. The Devs have refined the interface of the original with some quality polish.

Early access which seems to be what we call Beta these days. Initial impression: decent. Unit control quite slick, city control messy. Interface not great e.g. menus scattered around, circular tech and skill trees (again).
Tidefall is very cool indeed.
Promising.

Finished watching Strange New Worlds S3. After a cracking opening episode, it got lame fast. More like ST Discovery emo nonsense. That said there are a few good eps. The last ep where a few things got tied together felt more like a mid-season end to a mini-arc than something climactic.

Its set in 2120, so anyone that knows their timeline or has access to google will be ooohing and ahhing at where it might go.

Really did not like the religion game mechanic introduced in Civ 5. Civ 6 had it baked in and I hated it without mods. The DLC was too expensive but since C6 was available for free with all the DLC on Epic, gave it a try there without mods and its somewhat mitigated. Not touching Civ 7 with 'eras'.
