It will be interesting to see how this dynamic unfolds.
While machines can be told exactly what to do and serve as direct extensions of our will, humans have never been & never will be like that. That feature of humanity has long frustrated the sorts of humans who seek to dominate and exploit others...and I expect that dynamic to continue in the AI age.
