This is funny because fiber is the original protein. The studies about protein being beneficial were almost certainly due to fiber (lentils, beans, etc).
Trend-spotters are proclaiming that fiber is the new protein — the 2026 “it” nutrient. There’s a real risk the fad will backfire as people take fiber too far.

Here is what you need to know to benefit from the trend and the potential traps.
Column | You’re probably not eating enough fiber. Here’s what to do about it.
How much fiber do you need, and how can you get more of it into your diet?

the reason people sometimes act madder at democrats than republicans when republicans do impossibly evil shit is the same reason why, if you hired an exterminator to handle a roach infestation and he showed up to feed and play with them instead, your first instinct wouldn’t be to yell at the roaches

Periodic reminder:

If you use less gas for transportation, you help drop the value of a barrel of oil, which makes the people looking to profit off of stealing from Venezuelans, lose money.
🇻🇪♥️

Take the bus/train/bike/scooter, buy an EV, don't use gas.
Which makes invading Venezuela a much less profitable endeavor.

Venezuela either has "The most oil in the world!" Or "Not that much oil really," depending on what the price of oil is.
🙂🙃

Oil is currently near a 4 year low.

More!

@Chasteen True. It's complicated. "How much oil does Venezuela have? And is it high or low quality?" are questions whose answer changes greatly depending on what the global price of oil is. 🤷🏿‍♂️ ...

Since I care more about winning than dogma, I'll point out this is a safely blue seat that has seen the Dem unopposed or with 70/30 vote split the last two decades. We need better people in the seats.
i was not joking. i have just endorsed Waz for the HD 38 race. Why? Because he’s willing to fight to properly resource our investments in the statewide transit system. And he supports protecting our investments in education at all stages. please support him.

dummies in local power think that Portland is just a few parking lots, or drive thru’s, or tax cuts away from eating the sun belt’s lunch. But our comparative advantage was always in how we distinguished ourselves from paved America. If we lose that, we have nothing.
