If I could have a single day where a disk or file system issue doesn’t plague my life that would be great. This in particular is a dirty journal for an external drive using ext4 on Linux Mint. Machine is an iMac18,3.

This might be my favorite JWST image from the nearby Universe so far. You’re seeing the late stages of evolution of a star like the Sun, after it’s exhausted its nuclear fuel. This is a transient phase where it’s ejected its outer gas layers, which are then irradiated by the hot stellar remnant.
Another STUNNING image from JWST, this time of the Red Spider Nebula—the vast, wispy, gaseous remains of a now-dead star, the white dwarf core still glowing in the centre.

I'd suspect this has more to do with grooming teenagers and young men to "craft them into men". It's more common than you would think. Some break out of it. Some can't because they lean heavily on their family and don't want to lose that support system.
i actually don’t think the “average” american millennial man had a nazi phase. it’s not some boys will be boys shit. this makes me side eye you and your friend group, sounds like a personal problem

Dude, what the hell is WebLogic? Like, I’ve never seen and used a messier product than this. I can already think of 1,000 reasons not to use this but my client insists.

Ron Deibert is absolutely the voice that the infosec industry needs to be listening to right now. We are in a moment where fascism is consolidating power and most of the infosec industry is either playing along or is busy bragging about how much AI they've shoved into their products.

This is unusual.

Marjorie Taylor Greene bought Palantir, $PLTR, April 8.

$PLTR since obtained numerous governmental contracts, including one with ICE on April 17th.

She is on the Committee of Homeland Security.

And she just disclosed: she bought more $PLTR stock.

This past week I moved a bunch of old Dell and HP servers in the heat wave, and also did some Desktop repairs and recovery for some developer workstations. Been a pretty eventful week.

Scored another 12-Core 2012 Mac Pro 5,1 today, fully populated 128GB of DDR3, 4x 1TB SSDs and a ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB. This will join my Proxmox cluster as my second node.
