I too, would eagerly welcome the return of the Subaru Baja, because I've long thought (especially nowadays) the brand could use a compact lifestyle pickup truck in its lineup...but I highly doubt that will ever happen here on our shores.

On test this week, Subaru's 2025 BRZ tS! This is actually my second go in the more athletic tS, which I first evaluated in late November of 2024. I adored this car then and I'm sure I'll adore it again now. And! Subaru outfitted this tS for the winter with Bridgestone Blizzaks and rubber mats inside

We were a bit surprised to see in our latest Future Attribute Demand Study that EV intenders (those who will not just consider, but actually intend to buy one) are actually now more likely to be Republican than Democrat. Specifically, 43% of EV intenders are Republican while 36% are Democrats.

What was I doing in Bellingham? Why, picking up this 1980 #Cadillac Coupe DeVille, which replaces the sadly departed Skoda. The flat light doesn't do this color justice, but I was in a hurry yesterday. It ticked over 64,000 original miles on the way home.

The @chargepointnet.bsky.social network released data from more than 100 million #EV charging sessions in a year.

It says the data, combined with 2025 EV sales figures, suggest available public charging infrastructure is not keeping up with demand.

(Note the bulk of its network is AC Level 2 ...)
ChargePoint network data indicates EV charging demand is outpacing infrastructure deployments
EV charging providers don’t seem to have gotten the memo about the demise of EVs—they’ve been deploying new chargers in record numbers in the US and Europe. Retail chains also seem to be ignoring the ...

Tesla's share of China's BEV market was down 17%, to 5.31%

Looks like the facelifts have worked through demand, and it's downhill from here in the world's biggest EV market

So I'm a trained medical first responder and ski patroller. It is insane how when we're working on a patient...oftentimes they're more concerned about finding which hospital will or will not accept their insurance, or how much an ambulance will cost them, than the injury itself.

That's America.
