A day late, but now that the embargo's lifted heres a link to my thoughts on what it was like to drive Hyundai's new 2026 Palisade Hybrid for a few hours in Texas hill country last week.

TLDR- Hyundai's got an easy winner amongst family vehicle shoppers. Enjoy!

Well, that's a problem 👀

Like it looks lovely and even more upscale like a Range Rover, but those flush power door handles gotta go ASAP. This is a family hauler.

I haven't had enough coffee for this yet but this is incredible.

Um I just discovered that the front seatbacks of the new 2026 Cadillac Optiq V can be blue and I'm in love:

I can't tell you how it actually drives yet but I can tell you we got massively lost amidst the Texas hill country and Hyundai's new 2026 Palisade Hybrid was a very comfortable place to be, while lost.

Getting reacquainted with Buick's 2025 Enclave Avenir for a few days. I had this exact spec on test a little under a year ago.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have about the brand's upscale three-row family hauler.

Also, good blue.

My week testing this lovely 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Plug-In Hybrid has ended. Of the 204 miles I drove...183 miles were done *only* on EV power just by plugging it in every night to my garage's 110V outlet. That's rad.!

Full thoughts over on my Instagram.

Being the PHEV geek I am, I wanted to actually charge the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Plug-In Hybrid using a Level 3 DC fast-charger. It's one of the few PHEVs on sale that offer this quicker charging capability, which in theory is nice to have...but does it cause more harm than good? Maybe.

Kinda fun that Honda is *finally* starting to *fully* commit to doing rugged off-road stuff. Let's see if this Passport HRC Concept gets the green light for some kind of production (or at least those rad accessories).

I have acquired more relevant art for my home office.

There's a lot I like about the inside of this ultra-posh 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Plug-In Hybrid...but I hate how there's absolutely zero physical buttons/dials/switches/knows for any adjustments to the HVAC, seat comfort, or infotainment. Everything is done via that touchscreen.

Also, armrests!

From a capability standpoint this is a *brilliant* PHEV.

Readily having access to 50-60 miles of electric-only driving range (which I can confirm is indeed accurate in real world usage) rules and is easily achievable charging Land Rover's 2025 Range Rover Plug-In Hybrid via my garage's 110v outlet.

Photographing very old things. Coming soon to @bringatrailer.bsky.social, this incredible Ford Model A.

Land Rover's 2025 Range Rover Sport Plug-In Hybrid makes for a solid chase vehicle.

And...update! My mom & dad are now the happy owners of this lovely, loaded 2014 Toyota Venza XLE. Total gem of a used car at ~$12k. This vehicle should be perfect for them accessibility- and comfort-wise.

So long, twenty-year-old Honda Odyssey, you served us *extremely* well and worked very hard.

In other news, this 2025 Land Cruiser is marked down $5k.

Oh boy.

I have not had enough coffee this morning. Here car shopping with my elderly parents. Stay tuned.

Tis a morning for swapping Rovers. Bidding farewell to the Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE and welcoming this posh 2025 Range Rover Sport Plug-In Hybrid...which I'm very eager to spend a week with.

What an exciting week for concepts ahead of the upcoming Japan Mobility Show. Not exactly sure where Subaru is going to take its STI performance division but we'll know soon once these two concepts debut at the show. One is an EV.

As a result of that, certain Chinese brands are catching the eye and attention of these interested stateside vehicle shoppers, with Huawei (27%), Xiaomi Technology (23%), and BYD (19%) ranking as the top three most considered out of several automakers listed in our study.

Here's the full spread:

That's a wrap! My week of testing Land Rover's 2025 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE has come to a close, and I miss it like hell already.

Head over to my Instagram to read my final thoughts and take on this beloved boxy thing (which I still want to buy ASAP).

Some exciting Mitsubishi news today...in addition to the automaker announcing a new proper off-road trim, not just an appearance package, of the Outlander (!) due to bow late next year. We also saw a better peek at the brand's soon-coming EV which should be a distant clone of the latest Nissan Leaf.
