I'm seeing people defend Schumer and all I can think of is that BUFFY quote about "That's the kind of wooly-headed liberal thinking that leads to getting eaten."

Virginia Dems will move forward with Constitutional referendums after winning House of Delegates majority

Redistricting made a lot of news

Also in November 2026 there will be 3 additional referendums:

Reproductive rights
Restoring voting rights to ex-felons
Marriage equality
Looks like wipe out for Virginia House of Delegates Republicans

Dems on track to get at least 60 seats, if not more

GOP had 66 seats in 2017 before the elections then

Now will be below 40 in second Trump era

Will have full break down tomorrow

In other news, the Democratic Party will likely decide to stand for absolutely nothing if it means some extremely old people can cling to their elected offices.

At a certain point, the Democratic Party will have to be very clear about what it stands *for* that isn't GOP-lite
Li'l scoop at Semafor: A new report endorsed by Biden's former campaign manager, former DCCC chair Cheri Bustos, and other centrist Dems blames the party's broken brand on post-2012 left-wing language and ideas - not just "the groups" but adopted by whole party www.semafor.com/article/10/2...
Left-wing ideas have wrecked Democrats’ brand, new report warns
The center-left group Welcome relied on polling of hundreds of thousands of voters over six months for its findings, shared first with Semafor.

Elon Musk Discovers What Hierarchy Actually Means
Elon Musk is having a very bad week. The man who bought Twitter for $44 billion to secure unaccountable power over public discourse is discovering what unaccountable power actually looks like when wielded by someone who understands dominance better than he does. Trump just stripped SpaceX of a government contract and handed it to Jeff Bezos. Musk’s response? Rage-tweeting at Trump officials, including the immortal question “why are you gay”—the rhetorical sophistication we’ve come to expect from the richest man-child on the planet having a public meltdown because Daddy won’t give him what he wants.

This is an easy block, and in so doing, we could make them the most blocked account on this site.

That's a fun group activity, right?

White people have a kind of intra-white respectability politics about the level of racism that's considered permissible in polite company and I think a lot of polite racists are mad the gutter racists are tarnishing their good name.

I don't care for any kinda racist but I love myself, so. 🤷🏽‍♀️
