“This may not be much of an answer, but letting madness rule the day is the prerogative of nobility.” - Ken Yokoyama, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (2005)
The rationale for not releasing the Epstein files is that innocent people would be smeared by false allegations, but the most damaging stuff is people emailing their willingness to befriend a truly awful person in hopes of accessing money, connections or sex.

I think I’m gonna like this, and by extension the Spider-Man movie he helmed that’s out this summer.
Wonder Man is perhaps the most un-Marvel MCU show ever. More FX than Marvel. It's also a fantastic and very realistic look at a working actor's life in LA

Destin Daniel Cretton sets the show's rhythm at an indie pace, which is refreshing, but hardcore fans may hate it

Ben Kingsley is Emmy-worthy

We gave ten billion dollars to this agency for tragic outcomes like this?
In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.

He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.

At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.

Wael died on Friday at age 30.

ICE caused his death.

They didn’t get to say goodbye.
Disabled son of ICE detainee dies after 30 days of hospitalization
It had been months since Wael Tarabishi seen his father. The family is calling on ICE to release Maher Tarabishi so he may attend his son's funeral.

Also a great way to money launder.
Eric Adams, former NYC mayor, launched a memecoin (cryptocurrency) today. He marketed it as an “NYC Token” and used media appearances and his social media to promote it.

Within hours, Adams then drained its liquidity, apparently having scammed investors out of $3.4 million—a move called a rug pull.
